Burnley News: Fishing vessel aground at Rhossili Bay!
Four fisherman were taken off their fishing vessel by lifeboat last night after the vessel went aground at Rhossili Bay.
Swansea Coastguard received a mayday broadcast at 2.20 am, reporting that the fifteen metre vessel 'Bruno of Sutton' was hard aground. The Coastguard operations room requested the Rhossili Coastguard Rescue Team to attend and the Burry Port inshore RNLI lifeboat and the Tenby all weather RNLI lifeboat to launch.
The Coastguard Rescue Team have been on scene with the fishing vessel throughout last night and this morning, monitoring it and reporting back to the operations room on its condition. The Burry Port inshore lifeboat took the four crew off the vessel after they requested evacuation.
